Southwest London’s favourite local ice cream, now available for restaurants, parlours & delicatessens

In 2016 Celine and Christopher Thompson left their jobs in the commercial property industry to start Jefferson’s. It was born out of a passion for glorious ice cream free of artificial flavours and colours, an exceptional customer experience and well-designed environments providing a contemporary yet timeless setting.

After three years of research and planning, including trips to New York, Berlin, and all-around Italy, they opened their first store in Balham. In 2022 they expanded into a full production kitchen in a converted railway arch in Brixton with an attached second store. Supplying Chef’s and Trade has followed as a natural extension to the existing business.

ABOUT JEFFERSON’S

At Jefferson’s the quality of our ice cream is at the heart of everything we do. We make it fresh every day, using only the finest ingredients, including organic milk, double cream, free range egg yolk, raw unrefined cane sugar and no artificial colours or flavours.

All batches are made to order and infused for at least 24 hours. We research and create all our own flavours, including a monthly guest flavour, and would be delighted to collaborate with our partners on new and unique offerings.

Below are our core flavours, which we provide in 4 litre tubs (2 litres for sorbets) or 4.5 litre scooping napolis. Our range continues to grow, and we regularly introduce guest flavours.
